I use a range of natural therapy modalities to facilitate the healing and trauma recovery process including Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology (EMK), and Bioresonance Frequency Medicine Therapy.
You’re a unique individual with conditions brought about by a unique set of circumstances and the therapies we use depend on your particular needs and what you may be most responsive to.
I describe the human being and the trauma that occurs by using a computer as an analogy, which may help you understand the healing process better.
We come into the world like a fresh new laptop. We take it home, plug it in and there is nothing on it. We add a few apps on it, upload files, and other media, which all take up computer memory. One day we come across a virus, and we don’t have the right malware protection or anti-viral software on the laptop to protect it from viruses.
The virus corrupts many things including the good stuff such as experiences, habits and memories that have already been stored.
The human being is similar, the mother board is the brain, the nervous system and energy system is where the files are stored.
During a therapy session with me, we find out where the corrupt files are stored and clear them out. At the same time, we add the good things back in, plus more, by clearing out emotional stresses and recreating a new perspective of traumatic experiences.
When we’re experiencing negative feelings we’re out of balance, and we’re constantly striving for homeostasis, harmony, and balance. Otherwise, these higher levels of stress hormones lead to many physical ailments.
With my help, you’ll feel more centred, grounded, and able to handle life situations better. You’ll develop more emotional intelligence so that you’re not at the mercy of the fight, flight, or freeze response. Instead, my therapy helps you move into a calmer state of rest and digest, which lowers cortisol, epinephrine and norepinephrine (adrenaline).
The amount of time this takes depends on how long you have been experiencing trauma in your body. The longer you have been in a fight or flight state, the higher the levels of cortisol so we may need some time to lower the levels.
