How I help you

I work with people to recover from traumatic or negative experiences and conditions where I have had a lived experience. This is why my clients tell me I’m relatable and empathic to what they’re experiencing. Being supported to work through your issues in your own way, means you’ll make long-lasting change, freed from the trauma that is making you feel stuck and feeling like you’re just existing through each day.

I will take your hand and guide you through your own unique healing and recovery journey, as you release past held negative beliefs and trauma from your mind and body. There is nothing you can’t tell me. And if you would rather not talk as much in a session with me, this is not a problem. I have a range of modalities that I can use that require minimal talking and some simply require you to be still and receive healing energy.

Emotional Regulation

Emotional regulation is the ability to manage and respond to emotional experiences in a healthy and balanced way by recognising, understanding, and controlling your emotions to navigate life’s challenges effectively.

Good emotional regulation will help you make better decisions and choices in the event of emotional triggers which can send you into a self-destructive spiral. Instead of reacting through pure habit, you’ll be able to stop and breathe, and then respond accordingly to an adverse event for a better outcome.

In working with me, you will:

  • See and understand the warning signs that tip you into your negative emotional state – anger, grief, sadness, anxiety, and depression
  • Learn tools to help you stop from tripping into a negative emotional spiral
  • Engage techniques to calm the nervous system down
  • Learn to break the cycle so that you are free of the trauma which leads to the same outcomes

Trauma Recovery

Trauma recovery involves healing from emotional and psychological wounds through therapy, support systems, and self-care. We focus on processing and integrating traumatic experiences, and regaining control over aspects of your life. I use modalities that are best suited to your unique life experience.

The therapies I use are somatic therapies, meaning we focus on connecting the mind and body to heal mental health ailments and increase wellness. Unlike top-down therapies which involve a lot of talking, TFT, EMK and Bioresonance therapy are bottom-up therapies. This means I focus on restoring health in the body’s nervous system first, and then I move outward to clear your energy field. This is the most effective approach I have found to clear stored trauma in the body, regardless of how long it’s been there.

In working with me, you will:

  • Understand the root of the trauma
  • Be guided through your healing and recovery process in a safe environment
  • Rebuild your sense of safety – mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually
  • Build new and healthy neural pathways that replace ones that have been damaged by negative experiences.
  • Be able to step forward in your life no longer feeling held back by trauma of the past
  • Flick the switch in your nervous system and go from fight or flight (sympathetic nervous system), to rest and digest (parasympathetic nervous system)

Anxiety and Stress Reduction

Anxiety and stress are a part of modern life. I would love to say they aren’t, but the fact is that unless you live on top of a mountain and away from civilisation, you’re going to experience some sort of anxiety and stress.

But this only becomes a problem if you don’t have a way to destress. If anxiety and stress are left unchecked, they can cause emotional, mental, and physical disturbances and therefore long-term ailments.

In working with me, you will:

  • Understand what events or emotional triggers can throw you out of balance
  • Learn tools to come back to your centre and state of calm, to rebalance and recalibrate
  • Become more aware of the root causes of anxiety and the ripple effect on your mind and body
  • Discover ways of putting the brakes on before you trip into more anxiety and stress than you can cope with

Self-Worth and Self Esteem

Healthy self-esteem leads to improved self-confidence and the way you perceive your worth and abilities. Low self-esteem can lead to self-doubt and a negative self-image which will stop you from exploring new hobbies, relationships, and experiences that can potentially bring you fulfilment and joy. High self-esteem means you’ll step out in life more confidently, with more resilience, and build a healthier perspective of yourself in relation to the world around you.
